Delaware to honor extraordinary volunteers

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control is seeking nominations for Delaware’s 2012 Wetland Warrior Award.

The Wetland Warrior award was established in 2008 and honors individuals, businesses or organizations that have made extreme efforts to benefit the wetlands of Delaware through education, outreach, restoration or protection.

This year’s award will be presented on Governor’s Day, Thursday, July 26, at the Delaware State Fair in Harrington.
