Delaware average gas prices drop by six-cents a gallon

Delawareans are now paying an average of $3.54 for a gallon of gas, a drop of six-cents from the previous week.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the decline followed two consecutive weeks of price increases.  Gas production and refining capacities were restored following disruptions due to tropical storms.  Also, AAA Mid-Atlantic’s Jana Tidwell says the change-over is underway from the more-expensive summer blend of gasoline to a fall blend.  A year ago, the average price of gas in Delaware was $2.58.  CLICK HERE to track gas prices in your town or neighborhood with AAA’s Fuel Finder.
