Del. pizza-makers to open state’s smallest brewery
Candace and Steve Powell might be on to something. They currently run a pizzeria near Newark, Del., but their next business venture is beer.
The couple will open Argilla Brewing Co. @ Pietro’s Pizza in March — a nanobrewery specializing in homemade pizza pies and beer.
According to the News Journal, the pair will close the existing pizzeria later this month and move to a larger building where they’ll house all the equipment to make four beers. Their 1.5-barrel brewery will be the smallest in the state.
