Defense begins in priest-abuse trial, Orchestra reaches agreement with Kimmel Center

    Lizz Fiedler is already in court where the defense will begin today in the Philadelphia priest-abuse trial. She’ll have an update from court before heading over to a news conference at the Philadelphia Firefighters Union.

    Emma Jacobs will have a follow-up story on Comcast’s participation in a national WiFi network, and she’ll continue work on a story she began yesterday about Post Office layoffs.
    Peter Crimmins’ story about the Barnes Foundation neighbors is due in today, and he’ll also have the details on the Philadelphia Orchestra’s agreement with the Kimmel Center.

    Kevin McCorry will file a story on the latest developments around Philadelphia’a actual value initiative for property taxes, and Phil Gregory is on the Rutgers beat today.
