Day of service

    Mayor Michael Nutter tomorrow will announce plans for a day of service on Martin Luther King Day. The 16th annual MLK Day of Service will take place in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Jan. 17.

    Last year’s 70,000 volunteers created the largest celebration in the nation. Nutter will announce this year’s plans tomorrow moning at Girard College.
