Dave Matthews Band donates to Atlantic City community garden fund

After a three-day caravan in Atlantic City, the Dave Matthews Band will leave a permanent mark on the Shore town. The band will donate $50,000 to the AtlantiCare Foundation to support the organization’s community garden initiative.

The Health Garden Network plans to establish community gardens in each of the city’s six wards. The band’s donation matches AtlantiCare’s. Work began earlier this month on the first garden.
