When “South Philly stoop lady” Patsy ran into WHYY’s senior political reporter Dave Davies at the Acme at 10th and Reed, she didn’t let him out of her sight until she had a chance to ask him some burning questions about city politics.

Patsy cornered him in the parking lot to get some answers, and the pair delved into a discussion about ward leaders and the inner workings of Philadelphia elections. So began a series of “chance” encounters between Dave and his biggest stalker fan. Patsy’s relentless pursuit of the truth results in some valuable civic lessons.
