Suspended Holy Family basketball coach talks
John O’Connor, the first-year Holy Family coach suspended after an incident at practice last month, is talking.
He spoke with the Daily News yesterday to tell his side of the story, and the paper posted this story and video.
The story claims that the clipped practice video seen on Fox 29 makes the situation look worse than it really was.
Writes Dick Jeradi of the Daily News, “O’Connor’s lunge forward knocked Kravchuk off balance and to the floor. Seen out of context, it does not look good. Seen in context, it looks like something that could happen at any high-intensity practice.”
