Crime victims to be honored during a candlelight vigil, Sunday in New Jersey

Burlington County will be participating in National Crime Victims’ Rights Week by holding a candlelight vigil.

The event is being organized by Burlington County Prosecutor, Robert D. Bernardi, and as part of this year’s theme, is meant to “Reach Every Victim.”

Statistics from the Department of Justice show that more than 50 percent of crimes are not reported each year, reported Philly.com.

Sunday’s vigil is being held in honor of all victims, both vocal and silent, and will be held at the Burlington County College Culinary Arts Center, at 6 p.m., in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
