Crash spurs heavy traffic on GSP in southern Monmouth County late Monday afternoon

Traffic is heavy in the northbound local lanes of the Garden State Parkway following a crash in southern Monmouth County late Monday afternoon.
The crash, which occurred around 5:30 p.m., involves an overturned vehicle just south of milepost 105, according to Monmouth County Police, Fire, & EMS.
All local lanes were blocked as of 5:45 p.m. Traffic is backed up for miles shortly before 6 p.m., according to Google Traffic.
Emergency radio transmissions indicate that an ambulance was dispatched for injuries, but no additional information was immediately available.
