Council authorizes sale of Media borough hall to Philadelphia restaurateur

Media Borough Council has approved the resolution to authorize the sale of the old borough hall to Philadelphia restaurateur Claudio Sandolo.

Sandolo’s $670,000 offer was first accepted at a July 7 meeting, despite a bid from Heritage Design Collaborative that included more moneyin capital improvements.

 

The Delaware County Daily Times reports Councilman Peter Williamson, the lone opponent, has requested borough officials document the building in photographs to capture its facade details, and is asking that Sandolo sign off on them at or before the Aug. 19 settlement.
