Continuance for former Delco prosecutor charged with hit-and-run

The preliminary hearing for a former Delaware County prosecutor charged with a hit-and-run has been delayed, and with good reason.

His attorney, Deputy Attorney General Joe McGettigan, was in Bellefonte, Pa., that day for the Jerry Sandusky preliminary hearing.
Media Patch reports the judge granted the continuance for two other reasons: a request for further investigation into the charges against Michael Donohue, and a motion to have an out-of-county judge preside over the hearing.

Donohue is accused of striking and injuring a teenage skateboarder in Havertown last month and then fleeing the scene.
