Construction company chosen for Dilworth Plaza project
The Center City District has hired a construction company for the $50 million Dilworth Plaza project.
Gilbane, which has overseen projects at Temple University and Philadelphia International Airport, will lead the work and assist in the evaluation of construction bids, PlanPhilly reports.
Work will begin later this year on the plaza outside City Hall, and promises to include a large park with greenspace. Designs were unanimaously approved by the Zoning Board in July.
