College students feeling more stress, more likely to seek help

    There’s good news and bad news on the college front.

    Research confirms college freshmen are experiencing more stress and depression than in previous years. They’re feeling the impact of their tighter budgets, as well as their families’ struggles.

    But as Taunya English reports for WHYY, freshmen are also more aware of mental health issues, and are more likely these days to seek help.
