Cold temps for Sunday Eagles’ game, Union first playoff game

The snow may have moved out of our area but the cold winter-like temperatures are here to stay for some critical games for two local sports teams.

In the first game, the Philadelphia Union host the Houston Dynamo for the team’s first-ever playoff match at PPL Park in Chester tonight at 5 p.m. In its “Union Gamecast,” Phillyweather.net says the temperature will be 44 degrees for first kick and then dropping to 41 by the final minute of the match.

The Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys tonight at 8:20 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field with temperatures expected to be near 39 degrees. In the Phillyweather.net “Eaglescast,” temperatures could drop to 37 degrees by the fourth quarter, with partly cloudy skies and wind 5-10 miles per hour.
