A Coastal Flooding Advisory will go into effect for the entire Jersey Shore between 6 a.m. and noon tomorrow, according to a National Weather Service bulletin.

The bulletin advises that minor tidal flooding is likely during the morning high tide cycle.

Tides are running slightly above normal due to the new moon and an increasing easterly flow, according to the National Weather Service.

High tide will occur between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. along the oceanfront and up to two hours later in tidal waterways and back bays.

Roadways that are prone to tidal flooding will likely flood. Motorists should not drive through flooded areas.
