Coach arrested on charges of harassment

Timothy Udinski, a former boys’ lacrosse coach from Lansdale Catholic High School, was arrested today in Montgomery County, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia reported.

He has been charged with harassment and stalking by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, for allegedly sending false claims of sexual abuse in anonymous emails to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Udinski is accused of sending the false claims in retaliation for being fired as the coach in the 2010-2011 season. The false claims focused on football coach Jim Algeo and Nick Pison, the new lacrosse coach.

Prosecutors said Udinski himself had been the target of a similar smear campaign in March 2011.
