Closing Marcus Hook refinery workers toast the good ol’ days

A good story reported by Kathleen E. Carey of the DelCo Daily Times:

With the Marcus Hook Sunoco refinery scheduled to close, on the heels of ConocoPhillips’ refinery there closing, the workers and the businesses that supported and catered to them are on their heels, reeling from the economic setbacks. So the United Steelworkers members and their supporters enjoyed a six-pub pub crawl on Saturday at their favorite watering holes, both toasting the good ol’ days gone by, getting together to support a good cause (the union’s Education Fund) and giving a boost to beloved businesses taking a big hit, too. There’s a lot of good in this story, from the reporting to the community support, arising from the bad of a major economic disruption to the Delaware County port town on the Delaware River.
