Clean it up: Upper Darby residents to clean up Hamden Road

You’ll find the letters BYOB in the title of an event happening this morning in Upper Darby, but it’s not the BYOB type of event you might think.

The Daily Times reports this morning, beginning as early as 8:30 a.m., residents in Upper Darby are taking to the street, literally, as they plan to clean up Hampden Road.

The cleaning event, “Bring Your Own Broom” (BYOB) is put on by the Upper Darby Neighborhood Association.  Members are dedicating their Saturday morning to put on gloves and pick up trash.

According to the report, organizers say residents who want to help are welcome to join.
