City to ‘flip the switch’ on the South Street Bridge’s LED lights

Plan Philly’s Eyes on the Street reports that the city will illuminate the towers of the South Street Bridge on Monday, July 9, at 9 p.m.

The long-awaited lighting ceremony had been postponed when technical issues with the bridge’s LED light system arose back in January. Now after much delay, the lights will be on and the rehabbed South Street Bridge will be complete.
