Christie’s dad guilt no match for Dems’ helicopter critcism

Chris Christie has not yet found a sympathetic parent to offset the criticism of his personal use of a state helicopter.

At a news conference in Denville, the New Jersey governor said his son was thankful the guv got to see his high school baseball game. But critics say Christie’s use of the state chopper to get there was out of line.

He’s already bucked up a check to cover the expenses, as the Associated Press reports, but says he did so not out of guilt, but to get the conversation back on more serious topics. Like the ones Dave Davies mentions is this Off-Mic post.

Guess his son’s thank-you will have to suffice.
