Christie plans to introduce new state Supreme Court nominee this month

    Third time’s the charm?

After having his first two state Supreme Court nominees rejected, N.J. Gov. Chris Christie says he plans to introduce a third nominee, likely later this month.

First Assistant Attorney General Phil Kwon and Chatham Borough Mayor Bruce Harris were ultimately rejected by the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Kwon was rejected over concerns about his family’s business and party affiliation, while the Committee determined Harris didn’t have the right experience for the job.
