Gov. Chris Christie is holding a party on Ellis Island following his second inauguration.
His inaugural committee announced Tuesday the site of the party at a symbol of freedom on land shared by New York and New Jersey.
His swearing-in is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2014 in Trenton with the celebration that night.
The proceeds from the event will go to charity. Tickets are $500.
In 2010, his inauguration celebration was held at Newark’s Prudential center. It was a scaled-back party that night because the state was still in the depths of the Great Recession.
