Though he’s not raking in the big bucks like Arlene Ackerman and Charles Ramsey, Chris Christie is doing pretty well for himself.
The New Jersey governor is the fourth-highest paid state head in the nation.
A report from Stateline shows Christie’s $175,000 annual salary comes in behind those of the guvs of New York, Illinois and Michigan, who all make less than $180,000 a year.
New Jersey tied for fourth with Virgina, and Pennsylvania was a close fifth. Tom Corbett makes $174,914. Delaware’s Jack Markell’s salary is seventh at $171,000.
Maine’s brining up the rear with an annual gubernatorial payout of $70,000.
