Christie holding Vineland town hall as promised
Ask and you shall receive — if you’re the mayor’s wife.
Late last year, Vineland Mayor Robert Romano’s wife asked N.J. Gov. Chris Christie on live radio to visit the city for a town hall. Christie said he would, and asked his staff to arrange it.
So even though Christie was in Voorhees last week, the governor will return to South Jersey Thursday for the Vineland town hall at the National Guard Armory.
Romano tells the Daily Journal he hopes to ask Christie about the Vineland Development Center, which the governor plans to close.
The public meeting starts at 1:30 p.m.
