Christie, Bush hold dueling fundraisers in New Jersey
Republican president candidates Chris Christie and Jeb Bush are holding dueling fundraisers at the same time in the same New Jersey town.
Tickets for Wednesday night’s events in Saddle Brook start at $1,000.
An invitation obtained by The Record newspaper shows the fundraiser for the New Jersey governor will be hosted by the Saddle River Republican Club at the home of two registered Democrats.
Bush’s wife, Columba, will headline the fundraiser at the home of a clothing manufacturer. It was organized by three former Christie supporters: Jets owner Woody Johnson, state Sen. Joe Kyrillos and GOP fundraiser Gail Gordon.
