Halloween comes early to Chestnut Hill

The annual Chestnut Hill Halloween on Sunday brought both costumed kids and dogs to Germantown Avenue. The Halloween Costume Parade started at 1 p.m. at O’Doodles Toy Store. It was followed with two hours of trick or treating between the 7600 to 8600 blocks of Germantown Avenue. The Bone Appetite sponsored a pet costume parade at 4:30 p.m.

Other businesses celebrated Halloween in their own way. Hideaway Music presented a concert at 2 p.m. featuring John Wesley Harding. Today is Halloween and we remind drivers to beware of the ghosts and goblins that will be out in force tonight. Happy Halloween to all.
