Chester County’s ‘Marley & Me’ house on the market

What has five bedrooms, 16 acres and four outbuildings? A home for sale in Chester County. But the big draw is the house’s fame. It was a main setting for the 2008 feature film Marley & Me, based on the novel by former Philadelphia Inquirer columnist John Grogan.

The 175-year-old stone house in Birmingham is for sale for a cool $1.25 million, as the West Chester Daily Local reports. The owners are selling the house they purchased in 1996 for something smaller, now that they’re empty-nesters. You can check out the real estate listing here.

The couple has two dogs. They don’t come with the house.
