Chest Pain Accreditation for Paoli Hospital

    Paoli Hospital has earned its Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers following an evaluation of the hospital’s ability to assess, diagnose and treat heart patients.

    The accreditation acknowledges a higher level of expertise in handling patients experiencing heart-related problems.

    Main Line Health details some of the criteria the hospital met to earn the accreditation:

    reducing diagnosis time
    monitoring patients when it’s unclear if they’re having a heart attack
    promoting a healthier lifestyle to reduce the risk of heart attacks in patients
