Cherry Hill warehouse sale expected to bring tenants, jobs

Typically a warehouse sale would be cause for concern over job and industry loss.

But the Macy’s warehouse off Route 70 in Cherry Hill has been vacant so long its sale is welcome news. It’s expected to bring new tenants and generate about 150 new jobs.

Industrial Investments has purchased the 14-acre property for $3.4 million and has already signed its first tenant, the Courier Post reports.

An on-demand storage business will occupy about 20 percent of the space, which Industrial plans to modernize and repair.
