Check’s in the mail

For more than 3,000 New Jersey tax residents who did not receive their tax refunds, Uncle Sam has the cash in hand, and ready to go – just as soon as he knows where to send it. As reported on NJ.com, the holdup was the result of mailing address errors. As soon as taxpayers correct or update their information, the IRS will then reissue the payments. Taxpayers can call (800) 829-1954 or log on to IRS.gov and click on the “Where’s My Refund” link to check on the status.
