Ceremony honoring first responders postponed

A ceremony in Reading, Pennsylvania meant to honor first responders in Berks and Montgomery counties has been rescheduled because so many of the responders are on scene in several areas hit by severe flooding.

The Mercury reports HonorFest 2011 was scheduled for today at First Energy Stadium in Reading.  Organizers of the event have decided to move it to Saturday, October 1, after it became clear police, firefighters and ambulance crews would not be available to attend.
