Just in time for this morning’s hearng before the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, Philadelphia’s First District Councilman Frank DiCicco has requested a revocation of Foxwoods’ license.

In a letter to Gaming Control Board chairman Gregory Fajt, DiCicco cites the four-year development delay surrounding Foxwoods as a reason to revoke the casino’s gaming license and allow nearby residents to find a more suitable place for the casino, should it be built at all.

“Even its most ardent supporters must admit the entire development process has been mishandled,” DiCicco wrote Tuesday.
