Cars for cancer

Cars are the newest innovation being used to treat cancer. Indirectly, at least.

PhillyCarShare has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to help get patients to their appointments. After a 10-week trial period beginning Jan. 4 with selected patients from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University Hospital, Jefferson Hospital and Hahnemann University Hospital, the service will be open to the public.

Meggan Kole has the full report on how the partnership is expected to aid cancer patients in the area.
