A Cape May County ice cream parlor is among ten national finalists in a USA Today poll.

Serving scoops since the Prohibition era, Springer’s Homemade Ice Cream in Stone Harbor scoops over 50 flavors of freshly made ice cream, ices, gelato, sorbets, and novelty desserts, according to the store’s website.

“The historic building underwent major renovations in 1999 to modernize the store while recreating the look and feel of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor,” the website states.

Springer’s Homemade Ice Cream joins nine other parlors spanning the country from Kennebunkport, Maine, down to New Orleans, Louisiana, and across to Portland, Oregon.
