Camden to assist families affected by recent fires

    Update: Camden has set up a relief fund through PNC Bank, which the public can donate to at any New Jersey or Philadelphia branch by making a check out to “Chestnut/Winslow Fire Victims.” Additionally, Reliance Medical Group has offered free medical assessments to families affected by the blazes.

    Original report: In light of two recent fires that piles of debris on Camden’s streets, Mayor Dana Redd today will announce relief efforts for those affected by the blazes.

    Redd will join city council members this afternoon to discuss the establishment of a relief fund to assist those most affected by the fires on Chestnut and Winslow streets.
