Camden County enacts smoking ban for parks system

    Think of the children.They’re one motivation behind Camden County’s decision to ban smoking in parks. For the sake of keeping kids away from second smoke and protecting nonsmokers from discourteous puffers, smoking is now off-limits within the county parks system.
    Violators will get a written warning for a first offense, according to the Gloucester County Times. Subsequent offenses carry a $50 fine, though parks officials admit enforcement won’t be easy.Gloucester County may be the next to impose such a ban.
