2016 Camden tree lighting [photos]

A chilly wind didn’t dim the excitement at the annual Christmas tree lighting in Camden’s Roosevelt Park last night, as Mayor Dana Redd and a host of Camden City council members welcomed Santa—who arrived in a fire truck decked with red lights–to kick off the holiday season.

Singing was provided by students from Creative Arts Morgan Village, and cheerleaders from Camden Intensity braved the cold to perform in front of the tree for a small but appreciative crowd.
