Burlington County lowers cat adoption prices to relieve crowded shelter

Similar to an effort in Delaware County last month, the Burlington County, N.J., Animal Shelter has lowered its prices to encourage more cat adoptions.

The shelter’s increase in cats and kittens means it’s filled to capacity and needs help making space.

Morrestown Patch reports interested pet owners can take home a cat for $20 instead of the usual $45 to $60 from now until July 31.
