Brawl breaks out in Center City clothing store

A brawl involving about a dozen teens broke out about 7 p.m. Thursday in the Center City H&M store on Chestnut Street.

It was unclear what started the fight. There did not appear to be any serious injuries. One young woman’s hair extensions were pulled out and left lying on the floor.

After a few minutes, the store’s security workers and shoppers separated the fighting teens and ushered them out the door.

Store displays and merchandise were scattered, but there did not appear to be substantial damage. You can see the whole ordeal in the video WHYY’s Lizz Fiedler shot while she perused the store.
