Police close streets following Occupy eviction

UPDATE: All streets that were closed overnight in the vicinity of City Hall have re-opened.

This just in from the Philadelphia police: Due to the Occupy eviction situation, the following streets will remain closed until further notice:

1400 block of JFK
Southbound Broad Street from Arch to Chestnut
1500 block of Market Street
15th Street JFK to Chestnut Street
South Penn Square to Broad Street

Earlier, SEPTA was reporting some closures and delays, although now the agency’s website says regular schedules have resumed. Best to keep checking in if you’re setting out for a commute.
