Bon Jovi proposes pay-what-you-can restaurant
Known for his work with Project HOME and the Philadelphia Soul (and maybe a song or two), Jon Bon Jovi has plans for a pay-what-you-can restaurant in New Jersey.
The Asbury Park Press and Associated Press report the rocker/do-gooder and his Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation plan to turn a former auto repair shop in Red Bank into a restaurant. The menu will include nutritional items and no prices.
Those who can pay will, and others can get meals in exchange for volunteer work. People can also donate to pay for the meals of others.
The idea awaits local approval.
