Blogging teacher to return to her classroom

Natalie Munroe will return to her classroom this fall after she caught the ire of some parents for featuring her Central Bucks East High School students in posts on her blog.

Munroe was unapologetic when she talked to WHYY’s Lizz Fiedler back in February — not long after the school, students and parents discovered posts that called unnamed students things like lazy, loathesome and rude.

Now the Inquirer reports Munroe will return to her post as an 11th-grade English teacher this fall. She began her maternity leave not long after the blog started making headlines, and now has an infant daughter.

The district says it won’t comment until next week’s press briefing.
