Bicyclist killed by out of control driver
A 21-year-old bicyclist was struck by a car and killed last night in Philadelphia near the intersection of Lehigh Avenue and Jasper Street.
According to KYW Newsradio, the bicyclist was killed by an out of control driver. Police tell KYW Newsradio the driver who allegedly hit the cyclist was placed under arrest and faces DUI and vehicular homicide charges.
The bicyclist was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the bicyclist has not been released.
