Ben Franklin Bridge south walkway reopens Monday

The south walkway of the Ben Franklin Bridge will reopen Monday.

Of course, that means the north walkway will close. The south walkway closed in late December for bridge work, and reopened briefly for New Year’s Eve festivities.

But as work continues and shifts, so do the closings.  The regular 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours on the south walkway resume Monday, just as the north walkway is decommissioned.
