Basketball bloggers hit their stride during March Madness
While you’re busy watching the NCAA tournament with a bag of Doritos in your lap and scrutinizing your bracket like a toddler discovering a worm, the sports bloggers are doing the real work.
WHYY’s Jen Howard talked to Brian Ewart and Jon Solomon. They run sites covering Villanova and Princeton basketball, respectively, and for them, March Madness is strictly business. While Solomon’s site is a source of income, Ewart runs his surreptitiously, as he’s a lawyer by day.
