Atlantic City erects ‘Boardwalk Empire’ replica

It’s the 1920s again in Atlantic City, thanks to a replica of the Boardwalk Empire-inspired storefronts being unveiled today on the Boardwalk.

The 108-foot long display outside of Boardwalk Hall will be a photo opp for people looking for the names and faces seen in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the project was spurred by longtime area radio host and Press columnist Pinky Kravitz. The vinyl billboard is 13 feet tall and built like a billboard to withstand storms.
