Atlantic City casinos plan to reopen at noon

Noon is the magic hour in New Jersey today.

That’s when casinos and Motor Vehicle stations plan to reopen today.

Both shut down late last week ahead of Irene and are on track to resume operations this afternoon — though business might be light, because some roads are still blocked.

All 11 casinos intend to open, and all but the MVC inspection stations in Plainfield, Randolph and South Brunswick will re-open as well.
