Atlantic City boardwalk inspections take place tomorrow

Is the claw in that prize machine too loose? Does the water gun fire at a moment’s notice?

Inspections take place this week on Atlantic City’s boardwalk before the height of the summer tourism season.

The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs’ “Safe Summer 2012” task force will check out the games for fairness and make sure the prizes are safe.

If you’re on the boardwalk, you might spot an inspection — they’re scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday.
