At start of highway safety season, Delaware police make 34 DUI arrests
Delaware’s annual Safe Family Holiday campaign began Thanksgiving weekend, and yielded 34 DUI arrests in that time.
The program by the Office of Highway Safety runs through New Year’s Eve, and the News Journal reports 113 DUI and 20 Aggressive Driving saturation patrols will be set up statewide this weekend.
Thanksgiving patrols also found 49 seatbelt violations and 15 wanted individuals.
